I bought these shoes and boots for my son who was just released from an 8 day hospitalization for what they identified was demyelinating neuropathy. He was having a hard time walking and with his balance. As soon as he put the shoes on and started walking he found his balance was better and less painful to walk. I have been wearing a different brand of barefoot shoes for years. However, I have yet to find a version of those shoes that can be worn in colder weather. They are uncomfortable and actually end up making my feet colder than just wearing socks. Then I stumbled across Peak foot ware. I purchased the Black Friday deal thinking that I get two pairs for the price of one and I can return them if I don’t like them. Needless to say, I am never returning these shoes. They a comfortable, good looking, and really warm. I wear one pair as my house shoes and the other as outdoor winter shoes. 100% a fan of Peak!!!! In fact, I bought another pair and received a discount and money off from Peak for buying the first pair! Can’t say enough good stuff about these shoes. I can't say enough good things about my Lorax Pro's! My 72-yr-old feet could relax into the wide toe box, and corn and bunion pain gone. Arthritis stabilized. My balance also improved. I got 3 pairs in the spring (of course I had to have 3 colors!). They are lightweight, breathable, and washable. (Hand wash or gentle machine on cold in a mesh bag or pillowcase.) I wore them every day, all day, indoor and out, from then on, thru summer into early fall. (I needed a little more arch support, but nothing that interfered with the barefoot shoe benefits.) I showed them to my family and personal trainer. I was even stopped by another concert-goer, and I gave her an enthusiastic review. I can't wait to try Peak winter barefoot shoes!

Have had them a week now. Very warm. Almost too much when inside.Have worn them shopping and comfortable. Not a lot of padding under heel if you are a heavy power walker. True test came today. Walked three blocks in a slushy snowstorm. About 2” of slush on sidewalk over older ice and snow. Traction good with a few slips on uneven surfaces. Socks became damp towards the end of the walk. Still warm but definite damp. Don’t think they would stay dry very long standing in water. So waterproof- not so much. Damp soaks in just above the rubber sole along the arches.

I received my first 2 pair of barefoot shoes and tried them on immediately. Different, but a good feeling. I love the wide toe base and feeling the ground under my feet… being protected but grounded. I have neuropathy and, while my feet are no better, they are definitely more comfortable. I ordered 4 more pair, all the same size, and one pair is, most likely, a full size too small. Another pair, I misordered an incorrect size but my son could wear them, so I gave them to him. I plan to order again, but it’s difficult to tell the difference so I don’t know what to order. Please make some in navy blue. That’s a great color for shoes. Thank you for barefoot shoes!

I am a 66 year old type 2 diabetic and the bottom of my feet hurt in ever brand but peak footwear due to it is so thin and gripping to the form of your foot, I use to think I needed more padding so I would not feel the impact as much on my feet, but that is not true, they gave me relief and they are sized true, I tried an eleven and a half and I am a 12. I think I have 11 pairs of these shoes now, and 3 more are due any day. I put them on in the morning and other than to change so I can wear another color, I never take them off until bedtime. My feet no longer ache. My feet no longer have corns. My legs no longer ache. My knees no longer hurt - and that's a huge plus since I've been getting pain shots every 6 months in one or the other knee. I love the winter ones with the furry insides! I’m disappointed. My feet feel great after walking on natural surfaces on the trail but hurt after walking on pavement. So my take away is these shoes are great for nature walks/hikes but don’t pass the test for in town/city walks.

My Peak shoes have been a game changer for me! I have always had to wear orthotics in my shoes and now have plantar fasciitis in my right foot as well as a big toe on the left foot that is a hammer toe My feet feel SI much better now that I wear them every day. I love the feel and lightness of the Caspar boots bought. I discovered, however, the soles of my feet need your orthotic support, which I also purchased with the boot. First, when I trimmed the orthotic I had to cut the toe area in a square to fit it in the shoe. Second, I am having trouble removing the existing insole in order place the orthotic. Would you please assist me with methods to remove insoles. Otherwise, my toes are happy toes in the boot. Thanks, R. Bales

I highly recommend the Athlete Pro. They fit perfectly, and are very comfortable even with standing length of time. This was the first time I tried barefoot shoes. I have not added my inserts into them yet. The Lorax Pro Limited edition runs wide, and I won’t be able to wear them. I am very disappointed, but at least I only ordered one pair.

I ordered the winter boot and two pair of the walking shoes. First I couldn't believe how light they were and then how easy they were to put on. I have a plate and eight screws on my right ankle and I've broken my left foot. I'm 70 years old. With conventional shoes, I was limping constantly and also causing back pain. Wearing the peak footwear, I'm not experiencing the limping or the back pain. I also discovered that my calves and ankles seem to be getting stronger. Thank you.

I am honestly amazed at how comfortable these shoes are. For years I have had to wear specially made $350 shoes from a Podorthist and still get foot pain. On a pension that was painful enough! A friend recommended these and I have been wearing them for 2 weeks everyday, I've not worn anything else and I have NO foot pain at all. even on uneven stoney surfaces my feet have not hurt. Next challenge is how long they last with constant wear. Oh, and I live in a red sand tropical region of Australia so I need to check how to clean them properly so they don't deteriorate.
Extremely happy and will probably get more pairs if these prove to wear well.

I bought a pair of the winter boots in pink /white. They're definitely waterproof and warm . Exactly what I wanted. Made exceptionally. Only issue I had was laces were too short and hard for me to put on and take off. Problem solved when I replaced laces with longer laces. I just consider that a very minor issue. They are comfortable and feel great walking in. Highly recommend. I went back and ordered 2 more pairs of different styles.

I have seldom found shoes that are comfortable, these are wonderful! I had a callus on the ball of my right foot for years, gone! Until I bought these shoes I had balance issues stemming from a back injury that left me with a drop foot. I used to fall until now. I’ve ordered 3 pairs of your Peek shoes. The last pair I ordered was supposed to be waterproof. They were not. I emailed a complaint last week. I received a very nice reply that explained an investigation would be initiated and someone would get back with me. As of today I’ve had no reply. I really like the cold weather boots but they must be waterproof for my needs.

I bought two pairs. One pair is perfect and I love them. The other pair’s insoles move around when I walk and maneuver themselves up the back of my heels. This is pretty uncomfortable. I don't know if the insoles and the body of the shoes are mismatched, but I can not really wear this second pair without adjusting the insoles after every few steps.

I really like them. I have two pairs of the barefoot shoes. I love those. These shoes run small. I ordered the same size but my toes are scrunched up and after awhile they hurt. I didn't try them on until it was too late to return them. You might be able to order a 1/2 to full size larger than you wear and they might be ok.

I bought the winter shoes the blue ones in photo and they were snug. Contacted customer service and they made it right by allowing me to gift the ones that did not fit and give me a credit to try them again. I am trying a size up, I have not worn them enough yet to give feedback. I for sure love the comfort of the lorax but they are not made to get wet, so I am not able to wear them when it rains. I bought a pair for indoor use too. I would reccomend them and have told many people about them when they ask.

I feel like these shoes have saved my life. I was having multiple falls every month and most falls resulted in broken bones. From the moment I took my first step, I knew this was a product that lived up to it's claims. The relief from the nagging numb feeling the bottom my feet have been experiencing was significantly reduce. Not totallly eliminated, but reduced to a sensation resembling walking on a soft cushion. I'm also walking with a more erect posture and more balance.
To top it off, when I take the shoes off, the sensation lingers. After a few weeks of regular use, I can now go to bed without the annoying numbing and occasional spasms in my feet.
Don't take my word for it, try them out. There 90 day return policy starts when you actually receive the product.
My only complaint is how long it takes to receive the shoes. Annoying. but worth the wait.
